Girlfriend (Relationship) - Pt 1

When I was a kid, I used to try so hard to find a girlfriend. I would convince every girl that I know to be my girlfriend and end up having fewer and fewer female friends. Why do I do that? The reason is because everyone else has a girlfriend so I’m feeling kind of left out. The reason could be applied to most of the kids too. Don’t tell me any legitimate ‘love’ was involved. They’re kids. Kids don’t know shit about ‘love’, relationship or sex.

Soon after I reach the Age of Thinking, I just don’t care for girlfriends anymore. That reminds me, whenever you see a guy that you know, and he doesn’t have a girlfriend for quite a long time, you would assume that he’s gay. Am I right? Well not all of you but most of you would assume that. I’m not throwing accusation around; I know this by firsthand experience. Maybe some of them are gay and some maybe not.

From my perspectives, men like women not for who they are but for what they are. They might need each other, but they don't like each other. And men definitely need women more than women need them. They’re only interested in certain body parts of women – unconsciously – like tits, ass, pussy or sometimes even fetishes like foot, toes or neck maybe? In other words, they only attracted to women sexually. Let’s say you met a woman who is an asexual. I highly doubt that she’s ever going to be your girlfriend.

I know some people would disagree with me on this matter. Well, believe what you want. Here‘s a number of ‘reasons’ that I have gathered from others on why a guy should have a girlfriend:

1. Sex (Obviously)
2. Love (?)
3. Share/express feelings
4. Companionship
5. Reproduction

Only reason (1) and (5) are valid. I won’t touch on the ‘Love’ matter just yet. Now for the other two, ‘Share/express feelings’ and ‘companionship’. Are those two things essential for life? I can think a number of substitutes for that. Why not share your feelings with someone close to you – that you don’t have sex with? You ought to get a more sincere and unbiased opinion/respond from them. What about a good friend or a childhood friend? I can’t see why you need a "girlfriend" for that?

I have to admit, you do feel good (about yourself) while having a girlfriend, but having a girlfriend doesn’t guarantee long lasting happiness. Sometimes, correction, most of the time, it could hurt you, especially people with low self-esteem. There are people who even commit suicide because of love. When’s the last time you heard someone committed suicide because they don’t have a girlfriend?

I just can’t stand people’s stand point on a guy who doesn’t prefer girlfriends. Only two things pop-up in their narrow and shallow mind. Either – like I said before – he’s gay, or he’s not trying hard enough. Why do we have to try so hard in finding a girlfriend? Furthermore, why try in the first place. If its part of human nature, then it should came naturally without any ‘trying’ involved.

For me I don’t care much for relationship so much as a girlfriend. It involves a lot of work and I can’t be with the same person for over some period of time. In time I’ll get bored. I do have girlfriends at times but only for a short while and for the sake of fun and researching. Nothing serious though. After all I can’t make conclusions about something without experiencing it first. I’m only saying, having a girlfriend is not a must.

Sex and reproduction are the only reasons behind why we have the urge to pursue women – not necessarily relationship or any emotional attachment. We don’t see it in plain view but that’s the only objective reasons. There are ways to reproduce and have sex without any relationship or emotional attachment involved. Relationship brings pain more than happiness anyway. So why bother?
